MCP server
Open source (MIT)
Paperclip orchestrates AI agents, one company per business. This MCP bridge drives them from Claude, on the web or on a phone: the morning round, a task handed over in one sentence, a project followed up. Every tool goes through a written rule, and sensitive decisions stay with a human.

modes per tool: run, ask for confirmation, not exposed
In use since October 2026. Code public on GitHub, MIT licensed.
Paperclip's board token can do everything: approve a plan, hire an agent, call any API endpoint. The official MCP server exposes all of it, and only locally. I wanted to follow and nudge the work from Claude, wherever I am, without giving it that power.
claude.ai and the Claude app do not show MCP confirmation prompts yet. Actions that need one are refused there, and nothing is written. That is by design: a refusal beats an implicit yes. Hence the fine-grained rule that lets safe changes through.
A production MCP server means a small surface, authentication checked on the server, and a written rule for every action.
