Data and prospecting

Last updated: 9 September 2026

This page says, without jargon, which data this site and DM Consulting's prospecting activity process, why, for how long, and how to object.

Data controller

DM CONSULTING SARL, 35T avenue Henri Barbusse, 95670 Marly-la-Ville, France, represented by Mickael Douabin. Contact: mickael@dm-consulting.tech.

Business-to-business prospecting

  • If you receive an email or a call from me without having contacted me, it is because your role relates to the services offered (technical leadership, mobile development, taking a product to production). Legal basis: legitimate interest (article 6.1.f GDPR), as the French data protection authority (CNIL) accepts for business-to-business prospecting.
  • Sources: public LinkedIn profile, your company website, published job offers, public registers (company directories), funding announcements, public app store listings.
  • Data processed: identity, role, company, professional contact details, and the public context that motivated the contact. No sensitive data.
  • Retention: three years after your last message to me, then deletion. If you object, a hash of your address is kept only to guarantee you are never contacted again.
  • Recipients and processors: Google Workspace (email and calendar), Notion (follow-up), Vercel (site hosting), PostHog (cookieless audience measurement, hosted in the European Union), Resend (notification of requests sent through the site). No sale or transfer of data.
  • Opt-out: reply “stop” to any message, or write to mickael@dm-consulting.tech. Requests are handled within 48 hours.

Site forms

The email address left in the cost calculator or a contact form is used only to answer your request. No newsletter, no transfer to third parties. You can ask for its deletion at any time.

Audience measurement

The site measures traffic with PostHog in cookieless mode: no cookie, nothing stored in your browser, no identification from one visit to the next. That is why there is no consent banner. Data is hosted in the European Union.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability: a simple email is enough, with an answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
